Blinken, UAE foreign minister discuss Sudan conflict -State Department

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan discussed in a call on Wednesday the importance of ending the conflict in Sudan, the State Department said in a statement.

Blinken also welcomed the deal to release hostages held by Hamas in Gaza and reaffirmed the importance of addressing the humanitarian needs in Gaza, the statement said.
