Sullivan, Qatar PM discussed potential ceasefire for hostage release

White House National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan and Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani met Tuesday and discussed a potential ceasefire in exchange for the release of hostages held in Gaza, the U.S. said in a statement. Sullivan and Al Thani agreed to stay in regular contact, according to the statement from the White House.
