IMF says it concludes visit to Ethiopia

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has concluded its visit to Ethiopia to hold discussions on the authorities' request for IMF support for their reform program, the fund said in a statement on Tuesday.

"Building on earlier discussions, the staff team made substantial progress towards establishing how the IMF could support the authorities' economic program. Discussions will continue at the IMF/World Bank Spring Meetings later this month," Alvaro Piris, who led the team in the visit, said in the statement.
