Pune Police Intensify Probe into Deadly Porsche Crash Involving Minor

The Pune police have intensified their investigation into a Porsche crash that resulted in the deaths of two IT professionals. The incident allegedly involves a minor driver, leading to multiple arrests, including the boy’s family members and healthcare staff accused of evidence tampering.

Pune police are intensifying their investigation into a fatal Porsche crash involving a minor driver. Authorities confirmed the incident resulted in the deaths of two IT professionals on May 19 in Kalyani Nagar. More than a dozen police teams, comprising around 100 personnel, have been mobilized to cover every aspect of the wide-ranging probe.

Three cases have been registered, including one against the bar that served alcohol to the juvenile and another against the boy’s father, a builder, for allowing him to drive without a valid license. Police have also arrested the boy's grandfather and mother, along with Sassoon General Hospital staff, for allegedly tampering with blood samples to protect the minor.

“To ensure a professional and effective investigation, multiple teams focusing on various aspects of the case have been deployed,” said Shailesh Balkawade, Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime). Technical analysis, CCTV monitoring, and field operations are among the facets being meticulously handled by the police.
