Andhra Pradesh Set for Vote Counting with Extensive Arrangements

Andhra Pradesh Chief Electoral Officer Mukesh Kumar Meena confirmed on Monday that all preparations for the vote counting, starting at 8 am on Tuesday, are complete. The process includes 33 locations across the state with extensive CCTV coverage, security measures, and over 25,000 staff deployed to ensure a smooth operation.

On Monday, Andhra Pradesh Chief Electoral Officer Mukesh Kumar Meena announced that all arrangements for the vote counting set for Tuesday morning have been finalized. The counting procedure will commence at 8 am.

According to Meena, vote counting will occur in 33 locations statewide, involving 401 halls equipped with 2,443 EVM tables for Parliamentary constituencies and 2,446 for assembly constituencies.

Meena also highlighted that 119 observers and numerous micro-observers, supervisors, and assistants have been assigned to oversee the process. Moreover, the counting centers will implement strict three-tier security measures and continuous CCTV coverage to ensure transparency and safety.
