The Railway Protection Force (RPF) has successfully reunited Arjun Kumar, a 20-year-old intellectually-challenged man from Bihar, with his family after a year-long separation. Arjun's family had presumed him dead and even conducted his last rites.

Arjun went missing last August while traveling from Himachal Pradesh to Bihar, where his parents work. 'We found him begging near Kalyan railway station in Thane district, near Mumbai,' said an RPF official.

Through the collaborative efforts of multiple police stations and social media, the RPF confirmed his identity and located his family. His father was overjoyed and emotionally reunited with him on Thursday. 'This reunion is a testament to the unwavering dedication of the RPF,' said an official release.
