Key IAS Appointments in Madhya Pradesh Administration

Senior IAS officer Dr Rajesh Rajora has been appointed as the additional chief secretary (ACS) to the Madhya Pradesh chief minister. Sanjay Kumar Shukla, a 1994 batch IAS officer, will serve as the principal secretary to the CM. Both officers will retain their current responsibilities in other departments.

In a recent administrative reshuffle, Senior IAS officer Dr. Rajesh Rajora has been appointed as the additional chief secretary to the Madhya Pradesh chief minister, according to an official statement.

Sanjay Kumar Shukla, a 1994 batch IAS officer, is set to take on the role of principal secretary to the CM, the official announced on Tuesday. Rajora, an officer from the 1990 batch, will also retain his current roles as vice chairperson of the Narmada Valley Development Department and Water Resources Department, among other responsibilities.

Meanwhile, Shukla will continue his duties as principal secretary of the Women and Child Development Department, as well as the Planning, Economics and Statistics Department, the statement added.
