Surge in Terror Activity in Jammu and Kashmir: Policeman Injured in Doda

A policeman was injured during a terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Doda district. This marks the second incident in 24 hours and the fourth in the region within three days. Additional incidents have been reported involving injured security personnel and a fatal bus attack on pilgrims.

A policeman sustained injuries on Wednesday evening after terrorists opened fire on a search party in Gandoh, Doda district, Jammu and Kashmir, according to officials.

The incident occurred around 7:41 pm in the Kota top area of Bhalesa. Security forces responded to the attack, leading to an intermittent exchange of fire. Reinforcements have been dispatched to secure the area, authorities confirmed.

This marks the second terror-related event in Doda within 24 hours and the fourth in three days across Jammu and Kashmir. Additional attacks over the past week included injuries to Rashtriya Rifles personnel, the killing of a suspected Pakistani terrorist, and a fatal bus attack involving pilgrims.
