Tragedy Strikes Religious Gathering: Family Mourns Loss Amidst Stampede

A devastating stampede occurred at a religious gathering in Hathras district, Uttar Pradesh, resulting in 121 fatalities, predominantly women. Among those who lost their lives was Rovin, the three-year-old son of Satyendra Yadav. Yadav, a 29-year-old driver from Delhi, was struck with grief upon hearing the tragic news from his wife.

'It is indeed very devastating for me and my family,' Yadav recounted, recalling the chaotic moments leading up to the stampede. The event saw nearly 2.5 lakh devotees in attendance, with many losing their lives as they attempted to seek blessings from the religious preacher, Baba Narayan Hari.

The unfortunate incident also claimed the lives of siblings Kaavya and Ayush, further deepening the sorrow surrounding the religious congregation meant for spiritual solace. The tragic occurrence has left multiple families in mourning and has raised concerns about crowd management at such large-scale gatherings.
