Allegation of Assault by Odisha Governor’s Son in Puri

The wife of a Raj Bhavan employee in Puri has alleged that her husband was assaulted by the Odisha governor’s son and others for not sending a luxury vehicle to pick him up. No official confirmation has been made by the Raj Bhavan or the police. She demands legal action.

An employee of Raj Bhavan in Puri reportedly faced an assault by the Odisha governor’s son and five others. The incident, said to have occurred on July 7, has not yet been confirmed by either the Raj Bhavan or local police authorities.

Accusing the governor’s son of the beating, Sayoj Pradhan, the victim's wife, spoke to the media about the incident. According to her, the assault occurred because her husband did not provide a luxury vehicle to transport the governor’s son.

Pradhan has called for legal action against those involved in the alleged assault on her husband.
