Troops, already on high alert along the border and the hinterland, were further mobilized as part of the search efforts. The operation includes participation from the Indian Army and the Special Operation Group (SOG), with drones providing aerial surveillance.

Officials reported that in Rajouri's Nowshera sector, police, CRPF, and army personnel conducted a collaborative search effort. Concurrently, similar operations were underway in the Ramgarh sector of Samba district, underscoring the multi-faceted approach to ensuring security in the region.
