Srikakulam Soldier Rajesh Dies in Jammu-Kashmir Terrorist Encounter

Srikakulam native D Rajesh, aged 25, succumbed to a terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir. The young soldier died in an exchange of fire during a counter-terrorist operation at Doda, which began late on Monday night.
Tragically, Rajesh's family received the news of his death from the Army, with his younger brother, D Madhusudhan Rao, confirming that Rajesh was shot in the chest. The family awaits further details, although they have been informed that his body will arrive at Visakhapatnam airport by 7 pm today.
Rajesh's untimely death has enveloped his family and relatives in deep sorrow, especially as it comes just days after the death of another soldier from the same district, S Jagadeshwar Rao. Rajesh, who had been in the army for six years and last visited home three months ago, was unmarried.
