Two Women Allegedly Raped by Five Men in Kushinagar
Two women returning home from a performance were allegedly raped by five men in Kushinagar. Three of the accused were arrested after an encounter, while two are still at large. An investigation is underway, and a manhunt has been launched to apprehend the absconding suspects.

Two women were allegedly raped by five men in Kushinagar while returning home from an orchestra performance, police reported on Wednesday. Three suspects, Neeraj, Kallu, and Ajay, were apprehended following an encounter, while two others remain absconding.
The incident occurred near the Ekla embankment on Tuesday night. The victims filed a complaint, prompting a police investigation. During an attempt to intercept the suspects in the Nausad area, the accused opened fire. In retaliation, Neeraj was shot in the leg and arrested along with Kallu and Ajay, who surrendered.
Additional Superintendent of Police, North Jitendra Kumar Srivastava, stated that a search operation is ongoing to capture the remaining suspects, and further investigation is in progress.
