A Singapore court on Friday dismissed S Iswaran's attempt to force the prosecution to hand over all witness statements for his upcoming corruption trial beginning August 13.
Iswaran, the former transport minister, is facing 35 charges, including obtaining valuables as a public servant, corruption, and obstructing justice, according to Channel News Asia.
The court ruled that there was no legal requirement for the prosecution to disclose all witness statements. The defence's argument that the prosecution had abused the process was also rejected.
