The West Bengal Motion Picture Artists' Forum has officially lodged a police complaint against the producers of the television serial 'Bholey Baba Par Karega' following the tragic death of actor Rahul Arunoday Banerjee. The incident occurred during an outdoor shoot near Digha, with accusations of negligence being levelled against the production team.

Senior members of the forum, including notable actors Prosenjit Chatterjee and Santilal Mukherjee, have demanded a transparent investigation to uncover the truth behind the actor's untimely demise. Reports indicate that both Banerjee and a co-actor were filming a dance scene in water at Talsari Sea Beach when they slipped into an underwater ditch, leading to Banerjee's death.

The forum, in conjunction with the actor's family, has expressed dissatisfaction with the production house's initial response. The Bengali film industry has joined forces to seek justice, with prominent figures spearheading a protest procession, emphasizing the need for accountability and detailed investigation of the tragic event.
