FIR Filed Against Four in Bhandup Mobile Tower Collapse
Police have filed an FIR against four individuals after a mobile tower collapsed in Bhandup, causing damage to three houses but no injuries. The FIR was filed under sections related to endangering human life and causing property damage. A further investigation is underway.

Police on Wednesday registered a First Information Report (FIR) against four persons in connection with a mobile tower collapse incident in the city.
No arrests have been made in the case. The mobile tower collapsed in Ramabai Nagar in Bhandup on Sunday, damaging three houses. Luckily, no one was injured in the incident.
Datta Patil, a junior engineer with the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation, filed a complaint regarding the collapse. The FIR was registered at Bhandup police station under sections 125 (rash or negligent act endangering human life) and 324 (mischief causing damage to property) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, an official stated.
Maintenance personnel from Vodafone company, city-based Rakshit Infrastructure, the owner of the land where the tower stood, and another individual have been named as accused in the case. According to the complaint, the landowner failed to show any government permission for the installation of the tower. Further investigation is ongoing.
