Gurugram Police Arrest Two in Connection with Youth's Murder

The Gurugram Police have arrested two individuals, Ajay and Sanjay, for the murder of a 24-year-old youth named Sanoj, whose body was found on July 21. The murder allegedly arose from suspicions of an extra-marital affair between the deceased Sanoj and Ajay's wife. An investigation is ongoing.

The Gurugram Police arrested two accused in the murder case of 24-year-old Sanoj, whose body was discovered on July 21. The arrested individuals, Ajay and Sanjay, are natives of Sanoj's village, said the police.

The primary suspect confessed to the murder, driven by suspicions of an extra-marital affair between Sanoj and his wife, police added.

According to authorities, Sanoj was a native of Simri village in Bihar's Saharsa district and had moved to Gurugram in search of a job seven months ago. He reported being abused and beaten the night before his murder. A complaint led to the arrest of Ajay and Sanjay, who allegedly killed Sanoj and disposed of his body using an auto rickshaw, which has been recovered, said Varun Dahiya, ACP Crime.
