The National Recruitment Agency (NRA) is meticulously studying the existing recruitment methods in both central and state governments to ensure that examinations are free and fair, the Rajya Sabha was informed on Thursday.
Approved by the Union cabinet in 2020, the NRA is tasked with conducting online exams to screen government job aspirants. Union Minister of State for Personnel Jitendra Singh, in a written reply, stated that the agency is also addressing potential issues in the new system ab initio to ensure smooth operations.
Additionally, the NRA is developing protocols and policies to tackle various issues and to ensure compliance with normative standards. Since its inception, the agency has conducted four Governing Body meetings from its headquarters in New Delhi.
