Shocking Crime: Teen Girl Raped and Pushed from Building in Delhi

A 16-year-old girl was allegedly raped at gunpoint and pushed from the fifth floor of a building in Dwarka, Delhi. The accused, her neighbor, forced her into a nearby building where the crime occurred. An FIR has been registered. The girl is undergoing treatment, and investigations are ongoing.

In a horrifying incident, a 16-year-old girl was allegedly raped at gunpoint and thrown off the fifth floor of a building in southwest Delhi's Dwarka, the police revealed on Thursday.

Surviving the fall, the victim, who suffered a leg fracture, is currently receiving medical care at Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital.

Authorities reported that the neighbor, who is the accused, entered the girl’s home on Monday while her parents were away, forcibly taking her to a nearby building where he committed the crime and subsequently pushed her off the fifth floor.

The girl's statement, recorded during counseling, confirmed the heinous act. An FIR has been filed under various sections, including wrongful confinement, rape of a minor, and attempted murder, as per the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and POCSO Act.

Officials noted inconsistencies in the girl's statements and are investigating to comprehensively understand the incident. Additionally, they disclosed that the victim had previously reported a gang rape in February, resulting in the arrest of four individuals. Active efforts are underway to apprehend the suspect in the latest case.
