Mysterious Death of Man in Thane Lodge

A 35-year-old man, Arvind Sukhai Chourasiya, was found dead in Thane city after checking into a lodge with a friend. The two had missed a train to Shirdi, consumed alcohol and a mango drink, and went to their rooms. The cause of death is under investigation.

A tragic incident unfolded in Maharashtra's Thane city, where a 35-year-old man, Arvind Sukhai Chourasiya, was discovered dead in a lodge room, an official disclosed on Friday.

Chourasiya and his companion, Sanjog Suresh Teengote, had planned to board a train to Shirdi but missed it and subsequently booked separate rooms in the lodge. They consumed alcohol and a mango drink before retiring to their respective rooms.

The next morning, Teengote failed to reach Chourasiya by phone. With the assistance of the lodge staff, he unlocked Chourasiya’s room, finding him unresponsive. Medical professionals later declared Chourasiya deceased. The Kopri police have registered a case of accidental death and are continuing their investigation.
