Jaishankar, in Tokyo for a Quad foreign ministers' meeting, met Japan's Foreign Minister Yoko Kamikawa and Australia's Foreign Minister Penny Wong individually to delve into key issues of mutual interest, including security, trade, and education.
The meetings were part of a broader effort to fortify political, trade, and people-to-people ties. Jaishankar also spoke with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and unveiled a bust of Mahatma Gandhi at Freedom Plaza in Edogawa, Tokyo.
