ED Summons TMC MLA Jiban Krishna Saha Over School Job Scam

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has summoned Trinamool Congress (TMC) MLA Jiban Krishna Saha for questioning as part of an ongoing investigation into suspected irregularities in school job recruitment in West Bengal, an official revealed on Sunday.
Saha, who was arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) last year for his alleged involvement in the scam and subsequently released, has been instructed to report to the ED's Kolkata office on Monday morning, the official disclosed.
Notably, the central agency had previously questioned Saha's wife in connection with the same scam. Following his April 2023 arrest by the CBI, Saha was released on bail in May this year.
