A BJP delegation on Sunday met with the family members of a 12-year-old rape survivor in Ayodhya, holding a detailed discussion about the incident.

The delegation, which included Rajya Sabha MPs and UP's Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Backward Class Welfare, Narendra Kashyap, gathered information and will submit a report to the national president of the BJP's OBC Morcha, K Laxman.

State officials have accused Moid Khan, the prime suspect, of being linked to the Samajwadi Party and involved in the gangrape. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has emphasized the need for action, and the district administration has already initiated steps, including the demolition of Khan's bakery.
