WADA Declares Cameroon's Anti-Doping Body Non-Compliant

The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) declared Cameroon's anti-doping body non-compliant after the National Anti-Doping Organisation failed to address concerns within four months. Cameroon has been added to a list of non-compliant countries, which includes Russia.

The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) announced on Monday that Cameroon's anti-doping body has been ruled non-compliant.

WADA initially gave Cameroon's National Anti-Doping Organisation a period of four months to address several concerns related to non-conformities in its anti-doping program. However, the organization failed to meet the requirements within the stipulated time.

"At the end of the watch-list period, the non-conformities were still not corrected," the agency stated, adding that Cameroon now joins Russia on the list of national anti-doping bodies that are non-compliant with the world anti-doping code.
