The Chief Minister stated that he has been in regular communication with Delhi and convened a meeting on Monday with the Chief Secretary, DGP, Assam Rifles, and BSF to discuss the situation. Saha emphasized the necessity of heightened border security and better coordination among the forces to prevent unauthorized crossings.
Saha confirmed that he has relayed to Delhi that Tripura remains stable despite the turmoil in Bangladesh. He also addressed concerns about the safety of minorities in Bangladesh, noting positive developments where local communities have stepped up to protect minority groups.
