A man was killed by Ukrainian shelling in Shebekino, within Russia's Belgorod region, according to a Telegram post by regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov on Thursday.

Gladkov reported that another civilian was wounded.

The Belgorod region has endured frequent shelling and drone attacks from Ukraine amid the ongoing war. It borders the Kursk region, where Ukrainian forces mounted a significant cross-border attack earlier this week.
