A 21-year-old woman has accused a lawyer of raping her in his chamber at Tis Hazari Court in north Delhi, police reported on Thursday.
According to the woman's complaint, the lawyer lured her with a job offer on July 27 but then forcibly assaulted her. He allegedly threatened her with dire consequences if she spoke out, giving her Rs 1,500 and sending her away.
The woman immediately informed her aunty, who helped her approach the police. Authorities have registered a case at the Sabji Mandi Police Station, and a probe is in progress.
