AAP leader Manish Sisodia walked out of jail on Friday to cheers and slogans from supporters as heavy rain lashed the city. Released after 17 months of incarceration over corruption and money laundering cases linked to the Delhi excise policy, his exit was marked by fervent celebration.

Enthusiastic party supporters lifted Sisodia on their shoulders, chanting slogans of support for him and AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal, such as 'jail ke taale tootege, Kejriwal ji chhootenge.'

Sisodia, dressed in a maroon shirt, was met by party leaders Atishi, Sanjay Singh, and Durgesh Pathak, who braved the rain under umbrellas. Addressing the crowd, Sisodia expressed his gratitude to Baba Saheb Ambedkar and the Supreme Court for delivering justice through the Constitution, which he described as a 'tight slap on dictatorship.'
