In a tragic accident late Saturday, three people, including two students, lost their lives in a collision between a car and a truck near the NRI Circle of Pratap Nagar, police reported on Sunday.
The incident occurred when the car, reportedly driven by a person named Vikas, who worked for one of the deceased students' families, rammed into a truck carrying vegetables. The critically injured were immediately rushed to Mahatma Gandhi Hospital, but doctors declared them brought dead upon arrival.
The victims have been identified as Amish Wadhwa from Mansarovar and Vedant Ahaluwalia from Jagatpura. Ahaluwalia was pursuing engineering in London, and Wadhwa was studying business administration in Jaipur. Their bodies will be handed over to their families after postmortem formalities.
