Security forces have intensified their search for terrorists believed to be hiding after a brief exchange of fire in Jammu and Kashmir's Doda district. The operation, aimed at tracking down the suspects, commenced on Wednesday, official sources reported.
The suspects are thought to be concealed in the Shivgarh-Assar belt. Indications suggest that one of the terrorists might have suffered injuries, as blood stains were discovered in the vicinity.
During the operation, security forces recovered an M4 carbine and three backpacks. The terrorists are suspected to have moved into these areas following a joint search operation by security forces and police in the Akar forest near the Patnitop belt of Udhampur district.
