Boy's Body Found in Delhi Drain: Tragic Incident in Ashok Vihar

In a tragic incident, the body of a young boy named Prince was found in a drain near his residence in Ashok Vihar, northwest Delhi, according to police reports released on Monday.

Prince had been playing near his house on Sunday afternoon when he disappeared. A search was immediately initiated after a missing person complaint was filed, stated Deputy Commissioner of Police (northwest) Jitendra Meena.

During the search, the police were informed that Prince was last seen playing near an uncovered drain. The search led to the recovery of his body that same evening. The body has since been handed over to his family following a post-mortem examination. A further investigation is ongoing.
