Grisly Attack in Uttar Pradesh: Woman Murdered, Husband Injured and Robbed
A 25-year-old woman, identified as Samreen alias Nida, was murdered and her husband, Sartaj, injured and robbed by unidentified attackers in Uttar Pradesh's Budaun district. The attackers stole Rs 42,000 and a mobile phone around 4.30 am. Sartaj managed to escape and notify family members, who found Samreen dead. The investigation is ongoing.

A 25-year-old woman was fatally attacked and her husband injured in a robbery by unidentified assailants in Uttar Pradesh's Budaun district, police confirmed Tuesday.
Officers reported that the attackers fled with Rs 42,000 cash and a mobile phone after slitting the woman's throat and injuring her husband around 4.30 am in the Ujhani area.
The victim, identified as Samreen alias Nida, was with her husband Sartaj, who managed to escape and return with family members to find her dead.
Senior Superintendent of Police Brijesh Singh stated, "Evidence indicates a sharp-edged weapon was used." Sartaj's statements have been inconsistent, and further investigation is ongoing.
