A team of IIT-Delhi professors has scrutinized the SUV connected to the tragic drowning of three UPSC aspirants at Rau's IAS Study Circle in Old Rajinder Nagar, according to the CBI's report submitted on Wednesday.
The experts measured the vehicle and the center's gate, with further inspection by a motor vehicle inspector scheduled. The CBI has requested an additional week for this examination, responding to the vehicle owner's plea for the SUV's release.
Citing the postmortem, the CBI revealed the aspirants died from antemortem drowning during heavy rain on July 27. The floodwater inundated the basement library, causing the fatalities. The investigation, under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), was transferred to the CBI by the Delhi High Court.
