The Uttar Pradesh Police recruitment exam took place at 1,174 centers across 67 districts for the fourth consecutive day on Friday.
Senior administrative officials inspected the exam centers to ensure smooth arrangements. The exams are being conducted under tight security to guarantee a fair examination process, as stated by officials.
The five-day examination period, which started last week, will wrap up on Saturday.
The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) clarified that the exams are held in two daily shifts spanning August 23, 24, 25, 30, and 31.
The need for a fresh recruitment exercise to fill over 60,000 positions came about after the initial exams scheduled for February 17 and 18 were canceled due to a paper leak investigation.
To assist candidates, the UP State Transport Corporation has been offering free bus services, including complimentary electric bus travel in numerous districts.
