Bihar Police Announce Bounty for Information on Notorious Criminals
The Bihar Police have announced rewards for information leading to the arrest of seven notorious criminals, including two Maoists, who are wanted in multiple cases. The rewards range from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 2 lakh per criminal. Authorities hope public cooperation will aid in the arrests.

The Bihar Police have announced a bounty for information leading to the capture of seven notorious criminals, including two individuals identified as Maoists, according to a senior officer on Thursday.
For tips resulting in the arrests of Maoists Kamlesh Rawani and Anil Yadav, a reward of Rs 1 lakh for each will be given. Rawani faces charges in three cases, while Yadav is implicated in four, particularly sought-after by the Gaya police.
A cash reward of Rs 2 lakh each has been declared for the arrests of Mohd Chand, alias Mohd Aftab, involved in six cases, and Karmbeer Kumar, alias Dharmbeer, wanted in 10 cases. The reward for Chand, pursued by Patna police, was raised from Rs 50,000 to Rs 2 lakh, while Kumar is wanted by Samastipur police.
The Bihar government’s Home Department also announced Rs 1 lakh rewards for information on Bajrangi Yadav, Mohammad Sahil, and Raja Shah. Additionally, approximately 80 other criminals remain at large, with rewards already posted for tips leading to their arrests, according to officials.
“Public cooperation will be instrumental in helping the STF apprehend these criminals,” said Additional Director General of Police (Operation) Amrit Raj.
