Writing on the Telegram messaging app, Terekhov reported that the Russians had used a guided bomb in the attack. Rescue operations are currently under way to assist those affected by the strike.
Regional Governor Oleh Syniehubov confirmed that Kharkiv had experienced two strikes. The incident adds to the growing list of assaults on civilian infrastructure in the region.
