A 21-year-old student named Vishal tragically lost his life after allegedly being pushed into Delhi's Munak Canal by unidentified men, officials revealed on Wednesday.

Vishal, a class 12 student, was reported missing Tuesday evening when his sister called the police. Upon receiving the distressing call, officials rushed to her residence but discovered that Vishal hadn't returned from school. She claimed he was forcefully thrown into the canal.

Upon searching, authorities retrieved Vishal's body from the canal and transported him to a hospital where he was declared dead. The body is currently preserved for an autopsy. Police have registered a case and are actively investigating the incident further.
