Tragic Classroom Clash in Muzaffarpur: Student Succumbs to Injuries

A class 11 student from Bihar's Muzaffarpur district, Saurabh Kumar, tragically succumbed to his injuries following a vicious classroom altercation, a police officer confirmed on Saturday.

The altercation took place at Turki government high school in Kurhani block, where Saurabh and his friends clashed with a group led by Om Prakash and Prahlad. During the fight, Saurabh was fatally struck on the head with a bamboo stick. A video of the incident has since gone viral, capturing the violent episode.

Post-clash, cross FIRs were filed by each group's family members, and with Saurabh's passing, murder charges are being added against those responsible. Police are investigating all angles, including rumors of a love affair instigating the violence, and verifying the students' ages through school records.
