Tragedy in Gaza: Children's Lives Hang by a Thread Amid Evacuation Delays

In a stark revelation, United Nations agencies have reported that children in Gaza are dying due to delays in emergency medical evacuations following the closure of the Rafah crossing.
According to UNICEF's James Elder, the number of children approved for medical evacuation has plummeted, with fewer than one child being evacuated per day, compared to nearly 300 each month in the past.
The Israeli authorities have not provided explanations for the denied applications, leaving children in Gaza at risk of dying not only from conflict injuries but also from a lack of access to crucial medical care.
