Explosive Discovery: Naxal IEDs Neutralized in Chhattisgarh
Security forces defused 10 Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) planted by Naxals in Bijapur, Chhattisgarh. Security forces have successfully defused 10 Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) in Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh, according to a police official on Wednesday.
The operation involved the 168th battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and local law enforcement, who uncovered eight IEDs near a temple in Timapur during a routine Road Opening Party (ROP) exercise.
Additionally, a CRPF CoBRA unit found two more IEDs between Kondapalli and Chhutwai villages. The explosives, planted by Naxals, were defused by a Bomb Disposal Squad, highlighting ongoing threats faced by security personnel in anti-Naxal operations.
