Rugby fans heading to the Emirates Airline Park (Ellis Park Stadium) for the highly anticipated Emirates Lions vs DHL Stormers match on Saturday, 15 February 2025, can enjoy a convenient and affordable travel option, thanks to the Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (PRASA).

PRASA has announced a special Metrorail service running at 15-minute intervals between Park Station and Ellis Park from 11:00 AM on match day. The last train from Ellis Park will depart at 6:45 PM.

Affordable and Convenient Travel Options:

  • Return Fare: R20 for a round trip.
  • Tickets: Available online at www.ticketpro.co.za or at station kiosks in Gauteng.
  • Journey Duration: Approximately 3 minutes each way.

Alternative Transport Solutions: Fans can also use the Gautrain to reach Park Station, where they can connect to the Metrorail service. The last Gautrain from Park Station will leave at 8:30 PM. Additionally, e-hailing services and limited paid parking at Park Station are available for those using private vehicles.
