Governor Lt Gen (Retd) K T Parnaik has declared that Arunachal Pradesh will not tolerate any external interference, reinforcing the state's commitment to protect its citizens from outside influence and intimidation, especially in the districts of Tirap, Changlang, and Longding.

During a high-level meeting in Khonsa, Tirap district, on Monday, the governor issued stern warnings to anti-national elements aiming to disturb peace in these eastern districts. He emphasized the need for a secure environment to foster the state's development and advance the welfare of its people, according to a Raj Bhavan statement released Tuesday.

Parnaik highlighted the critical importance of border security and instructed that comprehensive measures must be enacted to protect national interests. He further encouraged security forces to cultivate strong relationships with villagers in remote border areas, addressing their essential needs through Sadbhavana initiatives to build trust and cooperation.
