Tragic Mob Justice: Goat Theft Ends in Death

Two individuals were killed by a mob in Jharkhand's East Singhbhum district after being caught stealing a goat. The violent incident occurred in Jodsa village, resulting in the arrests, with police still pursuing other suspects.

In a shocking incident in Jharkhand's East Singhbhum district, two men were allegedly lynched by a mob after they were caught stealing a goat, police reported on Saturday.

The incident took place on Friday night in the village of Jodsa, within Chakulia police station's jurisdiction. According to authorities, the goat's owner captured the men in the act and, with the help of a mob, severely beat them. One of the individuals succumbed instantly to the attack, detailed Superintendent of Police (Rural) Risharbha Garg.

The injured men were transported to MGM Hospital but later died from their injuries. Law enforcement has apprehended the goat's owner and continues the search for other individuals involved in the attack.
