Addressing delays in the syllabus reform for the 2018-24 JKAS batches, Abdullah acknowledged the complexities involved. He noted that thorough comparisons with national standards were made, consulting senior IAS officers and relevant departments to ensure a comprehensive overhaul.
Crucial for aligning with legal changes post-Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation Act 2019, the new syllabus is set to facilitate probation confirmations once implemented. The Chief Minister assured expedited completion of this process, crucial for the administrative restructuring underway.
