The Jammu and Kashmir Congress on Friday condemned Pakistan for its missile and drone attacks targeting Jammu and surrounding areas, asserting that these aggressive actions will not go unpunished.
According to Ravinder Sharma, chief spokesperson of the J-K Pradesh Congress Committee, Pakistan's latest provocative maneuvers, marked by Thursday night's drone and missile strikes across key locations including Jammu city, Pathankot, and Udhampur, have met swift retaliation from India.
Indian armed forces successfully intercepted the threats, neutralizing eight missiles that aimed at both civilian and strategic sites in regions like Satwari, Samba, RS Pura, and Arnia, thus averting casualties. This escalation comes on the heels of India's Operation Sindoor, which targeted terror sites in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir and Pakistan in response to an earlier attack.
