A startling incident unfolded in northeast Delhi’s Ashok Nagar as a 19-year-old girl was allegedly pushed off her house rooftop by someone she knew. The person responsible has been identified, and efforts are being made to apprehend the suspect, according to police officials.

The incident was reported to Jyoti Nagar police station around 8:30 a.m., prompting a swift response. A police team discovered that the victim had already been transported to GTB Hospital by her father, who sought immediate medical treatment for her injuries.

A preliminary inquiry indicated that the young woman was pushed deliberately. An official added that a case under sections 109(1) (attempt to murder) and 351(2) (criminal intimidation) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita has been registered, and investigations are ongoing.
