Unprecedented Security Measures for Amarnath Yatra Include Facial Recognition Technology

In preparation for the Amarnath Yatra, authorities have implemented top-level security measures, including facial recognition systems and no-fly zones along the routes. Authorities have ramped up security for the upcoming Amarnath Yatra by deploying advanced technology, including facial recognition systems. These systems are designed to flag blacklisted individuals in real-time, enhancing the safety of the planned pilgrimage.

The entire route is declared a 'no-fly zone' to prevent unauthorized UAV or drone activity. The pilgrimage will start on July 3 and finish on August 9, with a shortened duration from previous years.
