A man has been apprehended for the alleged rape of a 20-year-old domestic worker, an ordeal spanning two years, according to police statements.
The victim lodged a First Information Report (FIR) on June 13 at Bordumsa Police Station, prompting the suspect's arrest on Sunday.
The case, involving repeated sexual abuse and harassment despite the woman's resistance, was transferred to Itanagar Women's Police Station, with further investigations underway, as confirmed by SP Jummar Basar.
