A medical student in Patna stands accused of betrayal after allegedly exploiting a woman he was in a live-in relationship with, only to marry another individual. The accused, identified as Seeraj, is currently at large as the police pursue the case.
Reports from a segment of the media claiming that the accused hid his religious identity have been refuted by police. According to Assistant Superintendent of Police Atulesh Jha, the woman was aware of Seeraj's true name soon after their meeting, discrediting speculation of identity deceit.
