An explosion at a pharmaceutical manufacturing plant has left the community in shock as officials confirm 36 fatalities and numerous injuries. The devastating event is believed to have been caused by a severe chemical reaction, sparking outrage and calls for accountability.
Superintendent of Police Paritosh Pankaj announced that an FIR has been registered under Sections 105, 110, and 117 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, focusing on culpable homicide and grievous hurt. The investigation aims to uncover the contributing factors that led to such a tragic incident.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy visited the site, pledging that those responsible would face legal consequences. Meanwhile, a senior official from the Department of Factories, Telangana, has confirmed plans to issue a notice under the Factories Act 1948 to the management, demanding explanations for apparent security lapses.
